The leading event for aquascapers and Aquatic Plant Enthusiasts

Join us at the 2026 Aquatic Gardener Association Convention, the premier event bringing together hobbyists dedicated to the art of aquascaping, and the science of propagating aquatic plants. Co-hosted by the Sacramento Aquarium Society, this biennial event brings together internationally renowned aquascapers from around the world to exchange knowledge and ideas focused on promoting aquatic plants in the hobby and industry.

Through a guided excursion, expert-led presentations, exclusive workshops, and a diverse variety of vendors and companies representing the hobby, the convention offers plenty of opportunities to engage with fellow hobbyists and industry leaders to learn, connect, and explore the aquatic plant hobby.

Join us for a guided walk through California’s seasonal vernal pools, home to unique aquatic invertebrates like Fairy Shrimp and Tadpole Shrimp. As spring progresses, the pools transform into a vibrant display of wildflowers, with over 200 plant species.
